Sweet Babies

Solveig is 3 months old and pretty responsive to us.  She smiles, coos, and giggles.  Absolutely precious!  Ander never cooed like she does.  But I will say they both do/did sonar cries.  This is what we call cries that aren't persistent, but more like they send out a brief cry and then listen to see if anyone is going to respond to them.  Solveig did this the other morning and went from crying to giggling as soon as she saw me.  Talk about melt your heart!

Ander is quite enamored with his sister.  It is absolutely wonderful to see unconditional love in such a pure form!  He loves mom and dad, grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles, etc.  But we play with him, feed him, cuddle him.  Solveig has offered him nothing so far, but he is completely head over heals for this girl!  When we brought her home from he hospital he never was asked to kiss her.  We expected either jealousy or ignorance.  But she was greeted with a big wet one!  Let's hope this continues!
